Confidence

Confidence is not something that always comes easy, but the good thing about it is that we can control how we come across to others, even when we don't feel our best. From speaking in front of your class, to communicating with people u just met, or going to a family gathering when you may be on the more shy side. It's okay to not feel your best sometimes, but remember, you are so special and important. You are accepted and loved more than you could know. A confident you is self-assurance. Believing in yourself, feeling positive about you and the things that you want to accomplish. Knowing you can do these things. For example, you don't want to allow another persons negative opinions about you to change who you are, you already have it in yourself. That's where your self talk comes in. When people bombard you with all their negative talk about you, you remind yourself that you are wonderfully made and accepted... by a confident you :)

Think about what makes you feel good about yourself as a reminder of the confident person that you are and will continue to be.

Acting confident when you don't feel your best is also a good way to test your acting skills! Click here for more: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g8Wr6LSzMfM

When are you the most confident?

Think of all of the things in your life that you are grateful for, the things that bring you joy, the things you love about yourself.

You are just human

Finding your confidence if redirecting yourself to how you want to feel. The next time you are feeling low about yourself, try a little smile and see if that doesn't help a smidge. It may take a little time, but it will grow on you. Then others will never know you weren't as confident as you expressed. Best trick ever.

It seems as though confidence is the root of just about all of our interactions with others. From speaking in front of a classroom of people who either like you or don't, trying to communicate with a crush of yours or just feeling low, still having to show up at your family gathering. But you know what? The good thing about our confidence, is that we can control how it comes across to other people. It may not be as easy at first, but when you don't feel your best, others may never know. This is also a good way to test your acting skills. But getting back to the subject, finding your confidence is learning to redirect yourself to how you want to feel. It's okay not to feel confident sometimes, that's just called being a human, but you can mask your insecurities with the best possible act...smiling. Now I know you're thinking, what? Smiling? How does smiling help me when I don't feel like it? Welp, I'll explain. The next time you are feeling low, try a little smile and see if that doesn't help a smidge. It may take a little time, but it will grow on you. Then others will never know you aren't as confident as you come off to be. Best trick ever.
